Sahoja Conversation with Kikos Coffee & Tea
Rajesh Rai, a co-founder of Sahoja, talks with Juan Arroyave of Kiko's Coffee & Tea, the #1 LGBTQ and Minority-owned Coffee and Tea company in the USA. Juan says, "When you're from Colombia, coffee is in your blood," and he's excited about offering genuine, fair trade Colombian coffee as well as a wide selection of organic teas to the world, all in recycled packaging. He emphasizes customer service and wants people to feel like family and that they are home when they drink Kiko's coffee and tea.
Giving back is a key component of his company, so they donate coffee and tea to local shelters in the Boston area and also help support the Impact-U Foundation. Impact-U provides financial resources and support for students in Colombia and, in fact, is one of Sahoja's Impact Projects: https://app.sahoja.co/projects/32 Juan feels that education is essential for everyone and he is happy to donate funds and promote volunteer efforts to ensure Impact-U's continued success.
Juan has faced many challenges as a member of the LGBTQ+ community both personally and professionally. That is also what motivates him to work with minorities and to treat everyone with respect.
